The Connecticut Children’s Book Fair is celebrating its 25th year this weekend, November 4-5, 10am-4pm in the Rome Commons Ballroom. The two-day Fair will welcome 20 authors and illustrators for presentations and book signings as well as activities for kids such as story time, craft workshops, life-sized board games and breakfast with costume characters.
Other activities include a conference for educators sponsored by the Neag School of Education and the Raab Prize in Illustration sponsored by the School of Fine Arts and Raab Associates.
All of the activities are designed to offer the opportunity for children, aspiring artists and writers, parents, educators and collectors the chance to meet their favorite authors and illustrators.
