UConn Recovery Community's Recovery Month Celebration Breakfast
Friday, September 8, 2017
Student Union Ballroom
9:00am-11:00am
Currently, the disease of alcoholism and addiction affects 1 in 3 families in the United States. The UConn Recovery Community (URC), a collegiate recovery program helps create a culture of recovery for students by offering prosocial activities, recovery community engagement, and structure and support tailored to each student to help them reach their recovery and academic goals. The URC is hosting a National Recovery Month Celebration Breakfast to share and celebrate recovery, inform people about the URC, and rally community engagement. If the disease of alcoholism and addiction has touched your life in anyway (personally, family, loved ones), if you have an investment in recovery, then you have a place at this table!
