To mark the beginning of every academic year, the AACC sponsors a Welcome Back Pizza Party & Game Night for all to enjoy. It is highly encouraged for new students, who will have an opportunity to meet Dr. Price, Director of the African American Cultural Center, as well as many returning students.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to sign up for P.A2.S.S., the AACC’s peer mentoring program (UNIV 1820/2230). P.A2.S.S. is an important resource for students to help them truly thrive on campus, with support not only from classmates but also the resources provided from guest speakers, who are key members of UConn administration. There will also be information on upcoming AACC events and ways to get involved in the center. This gathering is a great way for all students to get to know each other and find out more about the AACC.
