The Program in Innovative Therapeutics for Connecticut’s Health – or PITCH – helps translate research into private investment in new commercial ventures.
Combining Yale’s Center for Molecular Discovery and its years of successful assay development, screening and synthetic chemistry, and UConn’s strong traditions in medicinal chemistry and drug development at the School of Pharmacy, along with the biochemistry and protein expression prowess at UConn Health, PITCH can help advance research beyond the "valley of death."
