Time to lace up your running shoes and join Team UConn Health for the Eversource Hartford Marathon on Saturday, October 14. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Pat and Jim Calhoun Cardiology Center. Sign up to become a runner HERE and receive $5 off the adult registration fee or $2 off the youth/student fee with code CHARITYUCONN17. You can participate in any of the race distances: marathon, half marathon, 5K or the team relay.
And better yet, all funds raised up to $5,000 will be matched by a generous donor!
Not a runner? Not a problem! We also need 30 volunteers on race day to help at the Athlete Bag Check from 8:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The athlete bag check is a safe and secure area where athletes can leave their bags/belongings while racing and return to claim them once they are finished. Volunteers will get Hartford Marathon swag and the bag check is indoors at the Bushnell Theater—so no worries about the weather!
