  • 6/28 Multimodal Feedback Options - Teaching Talk

You are invited to participate in a series of informal teaching talks throughout 2017.  These are opportunities for participants to comfortably share teaching concerns and discuss techniques and strategies with colleagues, experts, and CETL staff.  All sessions will take place in Rowe 319.  All UConn instructors —graduate students, TAs, and APIRs, as well as adjunct, tenure-track and tenured faculty—are encouraged to attend.

Contact Suzanne LaFleur if you have questions or would like more information.

    Wednesday, June 28        11:00 – 12:15         Multimodal Feedback Options

Are you spending a lot of your time giving feedback that your students don’t read? Are you worried your students don’t really use the feedback you give them in class? In this Teaching Talk we will talk about ways to give and receive feedback in different modalities, including audio, video, images, graphs, and several forms of writing (from margin annotations to HuskyCTforums to Google Docs). We will consider face-to-face, blended, and online environments.
