Planting Time is here! UConn Blooms has a great selection of geraniums in all shades of pink and red. Big and lush looking plants, our greenhouse may be small but our plants are the best around. We have a petunias and impatiens in pinks and purples to brighten any summer garden. Sage, rosemary and thyme are our most popular herbs and there's nothing like fresh homegrown herbs to give a natural flavor to any dish.
Always wanted to grow tomatoes? We have the old-fashion traditional Beefsteak, Cheorkee Purple and San Marzano for either canning, sauce or to add to your salad. These can grow in both the ground or in large pots on the deck. UConn Blooms doesn't grow alot of plants but what we do grow, we grow extremely well.
Located in the Floriculture Building at 1395 Storrs Road, UConn Blooms has free parking alongside our greenhouse in our driveway. We are open Monday through Friday 10:30 to 5:00. Stop by and see the beauty!
