The mundane shift for employees of a small-town Connecticut grocery store as they battle unruly customers, power failure, wild animals, and the discovery that their newly hired cashier may not be as innocent as he seems.
BuyTown is a half hour comedic television pilot episode funded through a UConn IDEA grant. The pilot was written by, produced, and stars Ryan McCarthy, Ivan Carlson, and Benjamin Piascik and was filmed over three consecutive nights at a local grocery store in early 2017.
