This session covers basic procedures for academic departments to request J-1 visa sponsorship for international visitors to conduct research, teach, intern and consult at UConn.
This session is required for department admins who utilize the ISSS DS-2019 request form, who have not yet attended this training session in the past. We also encourage departments who have already attended, but who wish to review procedures, ask questions and provide feedback, to attend.

- New funding requirements
-Updates to Student Intern guidelines
