You are invited to participate in CETL’s teaching talk “Classroom Assessment Techniques for Examining Student Reactions to Instruction” on Friday, March 3rd, from 10:00 – 11:15 a.m. in ROWE 319. This is one of a series of Informal discussions aimed at sharing teaching ideas and concerns and discussing techniques and strategies with colleagues, experts, and CETL staff. At this session, participants will discuss topics like
- Strategies to get meaningful feedback from students about teaching and learning
- Interpreting feedback and using it mid-semester
- Encouraging meaningful self-assessment
- Using formative assessments and reflection to develop your teaching portfolio/files
All UConn instructors-graduate students, TAs, and APIRs, as well as adjunct, tenure-track and tenured faculty-are encouraged to attend.
