Diversity in Medicine is an event focused on discussing the role and importance of diversity throughout medicine: as an applicant to medical schools, as a med student, and in the physician workforce. The goal is to expand discussion of diversity to not only medicine, but other career paths as well by encourage others to continue these discussions with peers and colleagues. The event will consist of a discussion with a panel of physicians and then opening up to the audience for questions. Regardless of if you are premed/in medical-related fields or not, all are welcome to come engage in this discussion of diversity in medicine.
This event will take place on Tuesday, February 14th at 6:30pm in the Student Union Theater.
