  • 2/10 Teaching Talk on Developing and Using Rubrics

    You are invited to participate in CETL’s teaching talk “Developing and Using Rubrics” on Friday, February 10, from 11:00 – 12:15 p.m. in ROWE 319.  This is one of a series of Informal discussions aimed at sharing teaching ideas and concerns and discussing techniques and strategies with colleagues, experts, and CETL staff.  At this session, participants will discuss the answers to questions like

    • What is a rubric?

    • How can rubrics be used to save grading time, provide useful feedback, & promote student learning?

    • How do I construct a rubric?

    • How do I use rubrics in HuskyCT?

     

    All UConn instructors-graduate students, TAs, and APIRs, as well as adjunct, tenure-track and tenured faculty-are encouraged to attend.
