To be considered for financial aid, you need to complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year.
For the best possible financial aid package, follow these steps:
- File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://fafsa.ed.gov
- Utilize the IRS Data Retrieval Tool to import 2015 tax figures directly from the IRS for maximum accuracy and for faster processing
- Meet UConn's priority deadline of March 1, 2017 for maximum aid consideration
- Use UConn's Federal School Code, 001417, for all campuses
Award notifications will be sent via email beginning late April 2017.
