  • National Retirement Security Week - 10/16 - 10/22

Many people believe they can’t save for the future because bills are due today. However, consider this:  Saving merely $2 per day – the cost of a morning coffee – can grow to more than $60,000 in 30 years (assuming 7-percent average return).

You can start small, save big – and take control over your financial future – by participating in the State of Connecticut Defined Contribution Plans.  Learn how to use the Plans today to give yourself a more financially secure tomorrow.

During National Retirement Security Week, be sure to:

    • Start saving for retirement if you haven't done so already by joining a Plan.
    • Increase your contributions if you've already enrolled in a Plan.

Each day next week, Prudential is hosting special group meetings where you can learn more about the importance of saving for retirement and the tools available to you.

Mark your calendar and attend a special event or meeting.  The Full National Retirement Security Week schedule is HERE.

Can’t make one of the meetings? You’re still covered! Get more information about the Plans at CTDCP.com.

    Sincerely,

    Kevin Lembo

    State Comptroller
