UConn Blooms has spectacular hardy garden mums grown right here on the UConn Campus. Bronze, white, yellow and rust bring all the colors of fall to your office, home or garden. These plants average about 75 flowers per plant, 20 inches high and 20 inches wide. Decorate your table, place them on your steps or deck, put in the foyer of your office; they just shout out autumn. These large plants are just $6.99 each, 3 or more for $6.50 each, 6 or more for $6 each, and 10 or more at $5.75 each.
UConn Blooms also currently has Phalaenopsis orchids for sale. Orchids are very easy to take care of and are surprisingly tough plants! They make the perfect desk plant due to their elegant shape and style. One plant can hold its blossoms for several months. They do well in a moderately bright windowsill. Water them with two ice cubes a week and that is it! We offer a variety of orchids in a rainbow of colors. Stop in today!
UConnBlooms is located in the Floriculture building across from the yellow barn at 1395 Storrs Road (Route 195). We are open from 10:30 to 5:00 Monday through Friday with parking available alongside our greenhouse in the driveway located near the Towers parking lot.
