    Title:                      “Influenza Vaccine in Seniors”

    Learning Objectives:  Participants will (be able to):

     

    1. Review the guidelines for influenza vaccination in seniors.
    2. Discuss why timing of when the influenza vaccine is given to the elderly is critical.
    3. Identify what are the benefits in giving the influenza vaccine to seniors.

     

    Target Audience:  The Department of Medicine faculty, housestaff and students, though many topics

    will be of interest to housestaff, students and other faculty members within the University of CT Schools

    of Medicine and Dental Medicine..

     

    Accreditation: The University of Connecticut School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

     

    The University of Connecticut School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
