On Thursday, September 22 at 6 pm UConn alum Shar Govindan will be presenting his book Students’ LinkedIn Checklist: Getting Professional Quickly. The first 20 attendees will receive a free autographed copy of the book.
Shar Govindan is Director of Social Learning at Bentley Systems Inc. In addition to articles, Shar has coauthored several books including Students' LinkedIn Checklist - Getting Professional Quickly, How Companies Succeed in Social Business, Social BOOM, and many others. Shar served as a co-chair of TSIA’s social media roundtable, on AWWA's Engineering Modeling and Applications Committee, and on Constellation Research Inc's Future of Work panel. Shar has a M.S. from the University of Connecticut and B.Tech from St. Joseph’s College of Engineering. He also has a Project Management Mastery from Stanford University, Business Foundations Specialization through Coursera from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and he has also completed the Credential of Readiness program from Harvard Business School. He also frequently speaks at several conferences on engineering, education, and social learning.
