For one night only, all the jazz groups of the University of Connecticut will come together to perform a diverse concert spanning a wide range of eras, styles and instrumentations --- from bebop-infused quintets to full-on big band swing! Expect to hear pieces by Dizzy Gillespie, Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Kenny Dorham and other jazz greats. The performance will be held at the Ballard Institute Theatre, accessible through the Barnes & Noble Booksellers at Storrs Center.
