The UConn Percussion Ensemble will be performing John Luther Adams’ Inuksuit on Saturday, September 10th to close out the UConn Music Department's annual day of Brass and Percussion. Inuksuit, composed for nine to ninety-nine percussionists, is intended to be performed outdoors and was called the the "ultimate environmental piece" by the New York Times. Join us at 2pm this Saturday, September 10 for an incredible musical experience celebrating the beauty of the natural world. The performance begins at the von der Mehden obelisk by Mirror Lake.
