The UConn Home & Garden Education Center’s redesigned website is now up and running. The website, “An informational resource for your gardens and home," is the HGEC’s link to the public and is now easier to navigate. The new homepage has links to over 100 updated fact sheets, the Plant Diagnostic Lab, and the Soil and Nutrient Analysis Lab, all of which provide information and services to the public. The HGEC staff members: Dawn Pettinelli-Center Coordinator and Assistant Extension Educator, Joan Allen-Plant Pathologist and Assistant Extension Educator, Carol Quish-Horticulturist and Program Aide, Pamm Cooper-Public Service Specialist, and Susan Pelton-Seasonal Public Service Specialist, all contribute to the Ladybug blog, the Home & Garden Education Center Quarterly newsletter, and the HGEC monthly updates to bring the public the latest topics in an informative and entertaining manner.
