The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) invites Storrs and regional campus faculty, staff, and graduate students who need to prepare and submit a protocol to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) to join Research IT Services staff for an InfoEd computer training session. Currently two sessions are planned during August to coincide with the start of the fall semester:
- August 25, 2016, 10:00 – 11:30 AM
- August 31, 2016, 10:00 – 11:30 AM
Both sessions will be held in the Homer Babbidge Library Electronic Classroom 1 (EC-1) at 369 Fairfield Way, Storrs.
Each hands-on, computer training session will provide an overview of the InfoEd Portal and explore the Human Subjects Module in detail. At the end of the session, participants will be able to login, find an existing IRB protocol or create a new one, and prepare and submit different types of IRB protocol applications using InfoEd.
