We would like to take the opportunity and remind you of the recent changes made related to the payment method for walk-up purchases at the new UConn Bookstore. All University related business purchases at the UConn Bookstore, now managed by Barnes and Noble, must be made with the PCard or via personal funds.
Authorized emergency out of pocket purchases can be reimbursed through the disbursement voucher process pursuant to the out of pocket purchases procedure. One change, however is that effective 9/1/16 any taxes charged when paying with personal funds will not be reimbursed.
Departments should first consider contracted vendors on HuskyBuy before going to the UConn Bookstore. HuskyBuy can allow students or non-PCard holders the ability to buy what they need with appropriate approvals. To obtain access to HuskyBuy contact Finance Systems (http://financesystems.uconn.edu/ ).
