If you enjoy culture, conversation, food, and getting to know people, you are more than welcome to join friends at International Christian Fellowship this summer as they host FREE gatherings at their homes throughout Northeast Connecticut. Our website (www.uconnicf.org) gives you all the specifics you need to attend any or all of these upcoming events. You can check the website for additions and up to date information, too. If you plan to come, please notify the people hosting the event so they know how to plan for your arrival. And if you would like to bring food and/or friends to share, please do!
Here is a sampling of the events that you are welcome to attend;
*A picnic at Diane Livermore’s home on August 6th starting at 1pm in Vernon, CT.
* We will also be present at the Graduate Student Fair on August 23rd from 1-5pm on campus!
*A HUGE outdoor “WELCOME BACK” picnic at the Barlow’s on Saturday, August 27th. More information to follow. Swimming, boating, great food. All internationals are invited!
*AND on September 9th, we’ll have a “WELCOME BACK” ice cream social at 6:30pm at St. Mark’s Chapel on 42 North Eagleville Road. Join us for UCONN Dairy Bar ice cream, a chance to relax, visit with new and old friends, and get to know us at International Christian Fellowship.
*Lastly, we’ll have a joint international music concert on Friday, September 30th with another international student group which will include foods from various cultures AND music, of course!
