Drop in to the Benton any time / any Friday this summer and let your creativity fly! Sketch, draw, or doodle, and discover how drawing can relieve your stress, help you develop new ideas, and learn new techniques. We provide the sketchpads and charcoal. And it's free.
For inspiration, we're exhibiting BLOW UP: INFLATABLE CONTEMPORARY ART — a playful, family-friendly collection of 21 inflatable works, among them a 10-foot tall White Elephant, two giant, smiling red bunnies, towering superheroes, and a 17-foot long Trans Am replica of the 1977 Smokey and the Bandit car. The structures are fun and whimsical, and they challenge our everyday, feet-on-the-ground perspective.
