We hope to see you at tomorrow's Opening Reception for BLOW UP: INFLATABLE CONTEMPORARY ART. It runs from 4:30 to 6:30.
This playful, family-friendly summer exhibition includes:
- a 10-foot tall white elephant,
- two giant, smiling red bunnies,
- towering superheroes that nearly reach the ceiling of the East Gallery,
- a huge, reclining gold Buddha, and
- a 17-foot long Trans Am replica of the 1977 Smokey and the Bandit car.
MUSEUM HOURS: Tuesday through Friday, 10 to 4:30 / Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 4:30. ADMISSION is free.
BLOW UP will be on exhibition through July 31, with the exception of Independence Day weekend, July 2 through 4, when the museum will be closed.
