FY17 Faculty Travel Funds
The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) would like to announce that the online application form for funds for faculty travel requests is now available. Funds can be requested for travel taking place in FY17 (July 1, 2016-June 30, 2017). While requests will be processed and awarded upon receipt (if applicable), the actual funds will not be available for reimbursement until July 1, 2016. Registration fees due prior to July 1 must be paid for with other funding sources, however, these fees can then be reimbursed once Faculty Travel Funds become available July 1.
Faculty travel funds are limited and, in part, subject to the outcome of collective bargaining negotiations with the AAUP that have not yet been concluded. As such, awards are not guaranteed. Faculty are encouraged to request funding as soon as they know they will attend a conference or professional workshop.
