    Mindfulness in the Workplace:

The original empirically-established program known as Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is an eight-week course in living well under stressful conditions. The adapted 4-week course uses the main components of MBSR within a shorter time-frame to support anyone overwhelmed by stress at work. Weekly sessions and daily home practices help participants to train the mind through various meditation practices to become calmer and clearer, and provide exercises that allow people to react to stress less and engage in life more.  Thousands of people report that the course helped to reduce symptoms such as chronic pain, headache, insomnia, fatigue, anxiety, over-eating, and negative thinking. Participants also report improvement in relationships, vitality, and a greater sense of well-being.
