This is the "BEST" week to plant you outdoor plants, vegetables, and herbs! UConn Blooms still has a good assortment of geraniums (big and beautiful for $4.99 each), petunias, coleus, and many other great annuals. Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, squash, and zucchini are ready to be put in the ground for summer harvest! Rosemary, sage, celery, cilantro, and basil always add flavor and scent to any meal. Uconn Blooms still has a cooler full of fresh cut flowers, stop in on your way home!
Although construction is happening all around us at the Floriculture building, our doors are still open Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking is available in T-LOT closest to our building and our front door will be open. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we'll help cart you plants out the door. Floriculture is across the street from the yellow barn on Route 195 (1395 Storrs Road).
