    Considering a Career in Evaluation? Guidance and Advice from Early Career Evaluators

    This brown bag panel, sponsored by the Measurement, Evaluation, and Assessment program in the Neag School of Education, will feature four early career evaluation scholars and practitioners, each of whom are using their evaluation knowledge in different settings.  Topics covered include information related to completing their graduate degree and moving into the job market, what they do in their current role, the knowledge, skills, and experiences that are needed in the types of positions they occupy, and advice for others considering a career in evaluation.  The panel will conclude with a Q&A period.  All UConn faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend.  

    Panelists will join virtually and include:

    • Christopher R. Harper, Ph.D., Behavioral Scientist, Division of Adolescent and School Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
    • Robert Owens, Ph.D., Research and Evaluation Specialist, Idaho Supreme Court
    • Aimee Reeves, M.A., Metrics and Evaluation Manager, Worldfund
    • Anne T. Vo, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Clinical Medical Education, Keck School of Medicine, University of Southern California
