  • Employee Appreciation Week Celebrated April 11-15,

    The 29th Annual Employee Appreciation Week is being celebrated April 11-15, 2016

    Each year during this time, the University pauses to reflect upon and acknowledge the continuing effort and commitment shown by all members of the University community.

    Employees who provided 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, and 50+ years of continuous state service as of October 1, 2015 will receive recognition awards. These awards are given in appreciation for their dedication and commitment to the University and the State of Connecticut. This year, over 547 employees will receive recognition awards.

    The University will also recognize 179 employees who have achieved 25 or more years of service (in increments of five) with an Appreciation Breakfast scheduled for April 12, 2016 at 9:00 am in the Rome Ballroom.  Invitations to employees and their supervisors were mailed in March.  RSVP's were due April 1st.  Please contact Events at rsvp@uconn.edu today if you have not yet responded.

    Department Coordinators are requested to kindly pick up all certificates for your Department employees on April 5th or April 6 at the Brown Building on the Depot Campus.  Gifts for individuals not attending the breakfast will be included in the pickup bags.
