    2016 Luis B. Ezyzaguirre Lecture: "Literature & Radio: Telling Stories Across Genres"

    Presented by: Daniel Alarcón, Contemporary American Writer; Distinguished Visiting Writer-Mills College; Visiting Writer-California College of the Arts

    Daniel Alarcón is professor of Broadcast Journalism at Columbia University. He is the creator, curator, and producer of the prize-winning Radio Ambulante podcast and is the author of “At Night We Walk in Circles,” “War by Candlelight,” and “Lost City Radio.” He earned a bachelor’s in anthropology from Columbia University and a master’s from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. He has studied in Ghana and taught in New York City.
