  • 2/29 UConn in Paris Info Session

Interested in going abroad? Possibly Paris? Come to the Info session for UConn in Paris at Oak 236 at 6PM.

While parading les boutiques off the Avenue des Champs Elysées or sipping a café on the Boulevard Saint-Germain, you might contemplate your next day in the most beautiful city in the world. On this extraordinary year or semester-long UConn faculty-led program, you will study at the University of Paris, founded in 1215 and still one of the most prestigious in the world, perfect your French language skills, and experience the rich culture of Paris in all of its dimensions, from its bustling markets and crowd-gathering street musicians to its quiet museums and sublime cathedrals. You will also be taken to excursions both within the city limits – a sunset cruise on the Seine, among others–, to the French countryside – a visit to Normandy and the D-Day Beaches or to Impressionist painter Claude Monet’s house and gardens– and, at the of the year, to another country whether in Europe or further afield: in the past, the group has traveled to Croatia, Spain, Italy, Greece, Senegal, Mauritius and Tunisia.
