A properly crafted question can engage students’ interest, foster ideas and contributions from other students, and in little time at all help transform what may have been an uninspired or “flat” classroom into a hotbed of learning in which the ideas and comments of one student are quickly built on by another. At the conclusion of this program, you will
- Develop online discussion questions that generate dynamic interaction
- Lead an online classroom discussion successfully
- Understand which types of questions work well in an online environment and which ones do not
- Understand the key rules for interaction and crafting good discussion questions
