Listening in Noise:  Human Subjects Requested

Volunteers are needed to participate in a research study determining how much time is needed between sentences to maximize understanding.

We are looking for adults from the ages of 65 to 85 with hearing loss to participate.  The study will take place over one to two sessions at teh UCONN Aural Rehabilitation Laboratory on the Storrs Campus.  Participants will be asked to repeat sentences presented in background noise.  We are conducting this research study to find out if the amount of time between sentences affects understanding.

Participants will receive a free hearing screening.
