  • 1/28 Annual FCOI Disclosure and WebEx for Investigators

    The Office of the Vice President for Research (OVPR) has implemented new policies and procedures regarding financial interest disclosures effective October 15, 2015.  UConn-Storrs and regional campus faculty, staff, graduate students, and others who are responsible for the design, conduct or reporting of sponsored research (i.e. investigators) to attend an online presentation on the new policies and procedures for reporting financial interest disclosures electronically.

    Join the OVPR Research Compliance Services staff for a WebExTM Webinar on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM to learn about the changes and see a step-by-step demonstration of the InfoEd External Interests Module, whereby investigators will submit their financial disclosures electronically. Step-by-step instructions for submitting financial disclosures are also available on the OVPR website. Investigators are required to file an electronic disclosure once every 12 months, within 30 days of acquiring a new financial interest or within 30 days of any reimbursed travel.

    Advanced registration for the webinar is required. Please visit the WebEx event registration page to register now for the FCOI session. You may watch the optional training session from any location (home or office) with a computer, speakers and Internet access. To ask questions verbally, you must also be connected by telephone or over VOIP with a microphone.
