     Applications for Accelerate UConn close January 15!

    Accelerate UConn uses the I-CORPS framework, developed and endorsed by the National Science Foundation (NSF), to provide specialized support to UConn entrepreneurs.

    This program helps faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and students connect with customers and develop strategies to bring new ideas and technology to market.

    In seven weeks, you will learn how to determine:  

    1. the right customers for your technology
    2. the size of your market and revenue potential
    3. an effective market entry strategy

    Last semester, eight teams completed the program. This feature story describes the one team's experience and progress. 

    Acceptance to the program comes with:

    •  Start-up grants of up to $3,000 

    • Training in Lean Launchpad Methodology

    • Access to experienced industry mentors

    • Funding lineage with the National Science Foundation
