UConnBlooms can help make the Spring Semester really Spring-like! We have some beautiful Connecticut grown Phalaenopsis Orchids which will blossom from January to March. Perhaps the perfect windowsill orchid, phalaenopsis (or phals for short) are easy to grow and hold their blooms for months. Their delicately rounded flowers resemble a group of moths gracefully alighting upon an arched branch. Their need for light is minimal and they will be quite content with just two ice cubes once a week. Give your desk or counter a colorful addition and put a smile on your face! UConn Blooms also has a great assortment of foliage houseplants to decorate the home or office. We have a cooler full of fresh flowers and arrangments to celebrate the beginning of the semester or to say thank you or say Happy Birthday! We deliver on campus for a minumum fee. UConnBlooms is located in the Floriculture Building on Route 195 (1395 Storrs Road) across the street from the yellow barn. Free parking is available in our driveway alongside our greenhouses. We are open from 10:30 to 5:00 Monday through Friday.
