To All SADM Users,
I am writing to give you advance notice of upcoming maintenance on the server that houses the Student Administration Data Mart SQL server databases. This is the production SQL Server 2000 server that is known as RYGAR.
The system is in need of maintenance that will require it to be offline and unavailable the evening of Friday, December 11th and for a portion of the day on Saturday, December 12th. The maintenance will begin at 6:30 pm on Friday, December 11th, when the system normally comes down each day for backups and database reload. We anticipate that the system will be back up and available for use by 12:00 pm (noon) on Saturday, if all goes as expected. Access to all SADM SQL Server databases will be unavailable during this process, regardless of how you are connecting to them.
A follow-up notification will be sent when the maintenance has been completed and the SADM databases are once again available for general use.
