The University is piloting an enhancement to the Student Administration system that will enable faculty and students to view their final exams schedule in Student Admin. Beginning Tuesday, November 3, 2015, faculty teaching Storrs campus courses will be able to view their final exam schedule via Student Admin.
To view your faculty exam schedule, after logging in, navigate to My Exam Schedule by clicking: Self Service, Faculty Center, My Teaching Schedule and scroll down. Your final exam schedule will be listed under your teaching schedule.
Faculty teaching regional campus courses need to refer to the final exam schedule at the specific regional campus. Links to all campus final exam schedules can be found here: http://registrar.uconn.edu/exams.
This enhancement has two purposes: to display final exam schedules via the Student Administration system and to alleviate some final exam conflicts. In accordance with Section XII of the University by-laws, which specifically defines what constitutes a final exam conflict (bunched finals), we are required to resolve such conflicts by rescheduling exams when necessary. This process in the past has been by and large manual and involved many hours of staff time from the Dean of Students Office and caused considerable student frustration. The Registrar’s Office, in conjunction with UITS and the Dean of Students office, has been working to identify and move exams in order to minimize these conflicts.
Because of this, it is imperative that you view your finals schedule, as it may not match your weekly pattern.
