    Lunchtime Seminar

    Providing an opportunity for faculty, graduate students, and professional staff to gather with colleagues to listen, discuss, comment, interact and reflect on a variety of topics to enhance teaching and learning.

    The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning offers the following workshop:

    Alternative final exams
    Michael Finiguerra, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology
    Ditching the cumulative final exam: alternatives for end of semester assessments. In this workshop I will discuss ideas and experiences in replacing the traditional cumulative final with a hands on approach that tests students’ ability to synthesize the course material.
