Call for Volunteers: We are looking for current students, staff, and faculty at UConn to carry the flag out onto the field which will be presented during the National Anthem. All volunteers will be provided a free ticket to the game, water and snacks. The deadline for registering to volunteer is September 18th, 2015. Upon signup volunteers will be given more defined details via Email as information becomes available. First Come, First served for RSVP’s!
Volunteers need to be present at Rentschler field 2.5 hours in advance of kick off time (TBD). There will be bus transportation provided leaving from the Student Union going to Rentschler to insure all have the opportunity to participate. Volunteers should also plan to be available the Friday before the game as well for flag unfurling practice in order to minimize confusion the day of the game. (Time and Location TBA) Volunteers will be provided a free ticket to the game.
