Public Information Meeting on Rt 195 Water Main Project Construction in Coventry/Tolland:
Connecticut Water has started construction on the five mile long pipeline that will deliver water service to Tolland, Mansfield, Storrs area along Route 195. A public information meeting has been scheduled for property owners living along Route 195 between the Willimantic River Bridge in Coventry and Anthony Road in Tolland to discuss the next phase of the water main construction project. Construction on this segment of the water main pipeline project is scheduled to begin in mid-August. Construction hours will be 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Work will begin near the Willimantic River Bridge and move west toward Anthony Road.
Representatives of Connecticut Water and the construction contractor will be in attendance to discuss construction plans and answer questions from the public on this next phase of the project. The information meeting is open to the public and will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at the Storrs Community Church at 90 Tolland Turnpike in Coventry at 7 p.m.
