Join the Scholarships & Student Employment unit along with the Center for Career Development on July 15th from 1:00-3:00 in Laurel Hall room 101 to learn some tips and strategies for effective student employee supervision, starting from candidate selection and the interview, continuing through expectations agreements and evaluations. We will discuss understanding the student mindset, onboarding tips, ways to incorporate your student employees into your daily activities, and motivational ideas to get your students invested and engaged in the work they do.

Be aware: Google has dropped support for Silverlight in their Chrome web browser, so you can not watch the LIVE MediaSite streams in Chrome, but other browsers (specifically Internet Explorer) should work. You should be able to watch previously recorded material in Chrome without issues. Sonic Foundry (developers of Mediasite) is working to remove the need for Silverlight from Mediasite.
