  • 7/17 Imagine Yourself as a Puppet

The Benton's popular SUMMER DRAWING SESSIONS continue this Friday from noon to 2 pm. Puppets are the theme.

Drawing inspiration from the huge puppets on exhibition in Speak Up! Speak Out! Bread & Puppet Theater, draw yourself as a puppet or draw the puppets themselves. Make your images scary or cute. You pull the strings -- er, hold the pencil!

Invite your friends along and see why this drawing series is attracting more people each week. We've got all the art supplies you'll need or you can bring your own dry materials if you like.

And while you're here, be sure to check out the exhibitions Remembering the Vietnam War and The Best of the Benton.
