A succulent and cactus dish garden workshop will be held at UConn Blloms on Wednesday June 24 at 5:00. These hardy plants are becoming very popular for their low maintenance and neglect tolerance. All they will require is a good amount of direct sun and watering once a week at the most.
Bring in your own container or we'll supply you with a simple faux terra cotta pot. These very simple plants come in a variety of shapes and shades, some very prehistoric in their look. We'll talk about soil preparation, light requirements and humidity levels. A $30.00 fee is charged and you'll need to pre-register to ensure a seat!
UConn Blooms is located in the Floriculture building at 1395 Storrs Road (Route 195) across from the yellow barn. Parking is available alongside and behind our greenhouses. The driveway is right before the Towers communter parking lot! Call UConn Blooms to register! 860-486-6000.
