In honor of nationally acclaimed choral conductor Peter Bagley’s 80th birthday, more than 100 of his friends and former students will perform in concert for the UConn Professor Emeritus of Music on May 16 at UConn. The concert will feature Bagley’s former students, colleagues and friends singing a variety of pieces, including a selection from the Messiah, the Star Spangled Banner and even a choral piece composed by Bagley himself.
The free Bagley Festival will be held in UCONN’s von der Mehden Recital Hall, 875 Coventry Road, Unit 1128, Storrs, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 16.
