Come out this summer and take a hike with your colleagues! Meet other walkers/hikers. They will take place in the woods around UConn Storrs campus, and will start at 12:15pm and end at 12:45pm. You might even see some wildlife. Please dress appropriately, and bring a water bottle with you. Hiking boots recommended. Register at prodev.uconn.edu (NetID required) for any and all of the hikes. Steady rain cancels.
May 22 (no rain date) River Walk and the Old Ski Slope, up and down some steep hills. Pace will be 1.5-2 mph. Meet at the Horsebarn Hill Arena paved lot.
June 16, (rain date-23rd) Grand Canyon of UConn, your feet may get wet. Meet at the Horsebarn Hill Arena paved lot.
July 21, (rain date-23rd), The Fenton River, with some rocks and hills. Meet at the Dairy Barn parking lot on Horsebarn Hill Rd.
August 18, (rain date-20th) the Monster Rock, meet at the corner picnic area on Horsebarn Hill Rd near the heifer barn where there is a white fence and a small pull out.
