UConn’s Office of Early College Programs offers the Pre-College Summer at UConn program to rising high school juniors and seniors.
Held on the Storrs Campus, this non-credit opportunity allows students to explore academic areas in-depth over two one-week sessions (August 3-7 and/or August 10-14). Academic areas include The Arts, Chemistry, Communications, Creative Writing, Digital Media-Game Design, Drama, Engineering, LGBT Justice, Music, Physics, PSLA-Sustainable Living, Human Behavior, Social Justice, Spanish, and Statistics.
In addition, all students participate together in several workshops that represent a broad range of academic fields.
Throughout the program, students:
- Learn from UConn professors, graduate students, and subject matter professionals.
- Visit on-campus laboratories and facilities.
- Attend academic class sessions and workshops.
On campus housing, meal plans, and commuter options are available.
