    Nels Pearson is Associate Professor of English and Director of the Irish Studies program at Fairfield U. He has published widely on literary modernism in England and Ireland. He co-edited Detective Fiction in a Postcolonial and Transnational World (Ashgate 2009) and his current book is Irish Cosmopolitanism: Location and Dislocation in James Joyce, Elizabeth Bowen, and Samuel Beckett (Florida UP, 2015).
