  • 3/23 Mark Sargent Shares Story of Cancer Battle

    Relay for Life of UConn Presents: Mark Sargent, Student Cancer Survivor

    Tonight at 7pm, Student Union Room 304B...This is also an Honors Event! Please help us spread the word by sharing this event with students. 

    Join us in hearing about Mark's battle with Hodgkin's Disease and how he managed to stay strong and finish off his senior year at UConn. He is a motivated and successful senior Political Science major, a brother and former president of Pi Kappa Alpha, and member and president of USG. Cancer couldn't keep him down, and his story will inspire you give back to make a difference.Donations collected at the door will go to fund The American Cancer Society, an organization that provides support services and resources for cancer patients and their families. 

    It doesn't end there!  Interested in getting involved in the nation's biggest fundraiser, Relay for Life? On Saturday at 3pm in the SU Theater, we have the third annual "Rock Out for Relay: A Concert for the Cure" featuring multiple student a cappella and dance groups...$5 suggested donation at the door. Also, Join us on April 10th from 4-10pm on the CLAS green behind Wilbur Cross for Relay for Life of UConn.
